Mark Watson and many others suffered the frustration of thundery weather last sunday until just after 6pm when the bites started to come. This was his first fish of 5 for the session.
When the weather is heavy, the fish are reluctant until the sun starts to go down. But then the action starts. We are open till about 9 these evenings depending... |

The all time fishery record has been broken! Well and truly broken with Jean Michel Poulot's magnificent days fishing last Easter Monday. Wait for it...........He caught and landed 94 fish here at Rathbeggan in his 7 hour session. Yes its true, and many others have had serious catches over the last while. The Reason?
